I live in the northeastern U.S. and have my first job that requires business attire (I just finished college). Usually I’ll be wearing a shirt and tie, but also a suit occasionally. What kind of coat is appropriate? The same kind of normal winter coat that’s worn with casual attire? Or something more dressy?

I had a hard time believeing him at first, too.

It is true that whenever we are out together, we see strange looking men in business suits.

And this one time, he was in Subway, when this man-yes, you guessed it, in a business suit-came in and, without ordering, sat down at a table near him and just watched my boyfriend.

And this other time, he was using the bathroom at his school and a bald fellow in a suit came in and washed his hands and said hello to him, and called him by name.

There is no reason for a bald man in a business suit to be in a school unless he works there, and he doesn’t.

There is no reason for a bald man in a business suit to know my boyfriend’s name unless they know each other, which they do not.

What should he/we do?

I’m been thinking about possibly having a career in health care management. I’m guessing that I will probably be required to wear a business suit or something simiar everyday. What are guys opinions about this? Are there any ways to look more feminine?

My friend is a small business owner, and recently, he involved in a small case law suit, since his business is so slow, he (or his business) can not afford to pay for the penalty (more than $5k), before the final of the court decision (he think he will lost), he want to close the business.
The question is, will he take the responsibility for the case even after close the business, will that lawsuit hold the liability for his own personal asset.

I will be attending a business casual event. However, I’ve purchased a black 3-button suit. I’m wondering if I can turn it into a more business casual style by wearing it with a shirt without a tie.

Does anyone ever notice that there are women that wear business seats and sometimes even a tie when working in a movie theater, at a hotel, or any office. Why can women wear business seats and dress like men but MEN CAN NEVER DRESS LIKE WOMEN?!!! I never see a man in a skirt or a dress unless he is gay. Shorts yes for men but not skirts. And men don’t wear brawls either.

What if someone did see a man wearing a dress though? Wont that be odd? It certainly isn’t odd for women to wear a suit and tie!

I’m curious where the modern business suit was first made and when and where.

do you wear the shirt collar over the suit or under it? I was always told you can wear it out for fashion, but for business casual you should wear it inside the suit, is this wrong or right?
