RickRN asked:

I have a job interview at a hospital with the recruiter and then with the Administrative Manager for a Nursing Assistant position. I’m thinking about just wearing some nice slacks and a button down shirt. Should I wear a suit & tie?

I think a suit and tie would be more appropriate for an interview. CornishBlue

That’s honestly a very debating question. It has been said that in the most recent years that a suit has taken a backseat to a more business casual look. Business suits have been seen in interviews for more Professional positions such as CEO type positions where as business casual attire has been a norm for the rest. Coming from a Corp. Tech Recruiter, I think that your best bet would be a shirt, tie and dress slacks. No need for a suit jacket. Good luck on your interview and I hope you get the job! aholmberg79

Suit and Tie, I would never go to an interview in business casual. proud2btysmom

Call me old fashioned, but I still believe in the suit and tie. It shows respect for your potential employer and that you place effort into the job interview process. And it looks professional. Swabbie
