The easiest way for a novice to build a web site is to start with a web template. Web Templates can be customized and you can use the layout but swap the graphics etc…. this will get you comfortable with basic HTML design and an HTML editor (like Dreamweaver).

You have to pay for anything that’s any good. If you are not confident that you have a good idea for a website then do it properly and that means paying. You will not get good returns for some time until your visitor list grows. With a little bit of discrete Adsense the site should pay its way untill it is fully developed. raysor

Well listen if you understood more about web design you can get that program to align properly in that program, although I never used it your issues are probably because of margins or positioning. Anyways post your budget, what you want to achieve, and what kind of business you have would help (if you want you can email me in my profile). I do graphic design, web design, shopping carts, and more of course with the newest technology, tableless designs, and never a use of a template ever anywhere in my design . I would be willing to work on a budget and can get websites done very quickly depending on how many pages. mike

There is a new site called Student Gems where students can post their skills on line and then business like yourselves post their needs and you are matched.

These are students so they are still training but quite often they are innovative and more up to date with technology and more importantly they are by far a cheaper option

The important thing is to give clear detailed instructions and what your expectations are..
