Can I wear sleeveless business dress to interview?
I have interview for work as a contractor for rehab services at a local community agency. It is almost 100 degrees out so do not want ot wear my typical interview business suit. Would it be appropriate to wear a black conservative business dress that is sleeveless with conservative closed toed red shoes for some color? Or even considering the temp, should I go with the suit?

The dress sounds fine, your interviewers will appreciate that it’s hot outside, and as long as it isn’t too short or tight, it sounds perfectly appropriate. Good luck with the interview! Lydia B
Even with the temp I would go with the suit. Since you do not know if there is a dress code at the agency, it would be better to err on the cautious side. Besides, the interviewer will likely be impressed that you were willing to put comfort aside to be as professional as possible. Amanda M
I think a lot of allowances are made for the heat and as long as it looks business like you’ll be good. Try to seem like you want the job and it would make your life complete if you got it. I’ve been told that I seemed like I didn’t care if got the job because I wasn’t nervous and usually just mellow anyway. bryan
