The prices are so cheap ($1.99 for anything), and the locations are huge so I see they get tons of business, but I was wondering if anyone has ever put their “dry clean only” pieces here, such as business suits, silk items, cashmere items, etc… If so were you impressed?

i bought a vintage business suit a while ago for $5. it’s a beautiful one made of pure wool with real fur trimming on its collar. the only thing is that i haven’t washed it since i bought it, and now i’m pretty sure it needs some washing, but i don’t have that much money that i could spend on dry-cleaning. plus, it’d be way more expensive than the cost of the suit itself. what do you thing i should do?

I was wondering if i could hand wash it? With just dish soap and water? I’m 17..sorry i dont know this stuff. It’s 100% cotton. But a lot of times i get clothes washed, they get bleached or whatever. I really like this shirt and i dont want it to get ruined. And it’s my only business shirt.

I take my business suits to the dry cleaners regularly and they get it clean except the arm pit smell never goes away even after I ask them to please try to clean the armpit area as much as possible. I don’t sweat that much, but because I wear suits about 12 hours a day at work, it makes it stinky over time. What is the most effective way for me to get rid of the smell?

This question is addressed to those who owns a laundry business. The suit was not Dry cleaned instead it was soaked with water and detergent thus the bubbles came about.

I spilled it on but I have not touched it or tried anything yet because I don’t want to make it worse.

I have no idea how it ended up in the garage, but I would hate for such a nice jacket to be ruined so easily! Help?!
