Suit = Blazer, blouse, skirt/trouser, stockings & heels.

I am a recent college graduate and I want to buy a tailored suit to wear to job interviews. I am broke, so I’m looking to spend as little as possible.

What style? (or brand)
What color? (maybe something that goes with a variety of collared shirts)
How much money will I likely have to spend?

I admittedly know nothing about purchasing or wearing a suit.

I have a few pairs of dress pants. Some are a set with a suit, others are plain slacks. All of my slacks have belt loops and my Dad thinks that it looks unprofessional to wear pants with belt loops without a belt in them. My pants are all perfectly tailored to fit my waist, and I haven’t really seen any younger females wearing belts around town.

Should I: A) Buy a belt, B) Remove the loops from the pants with a seem ripper, or C) Continue wearing the pants belt-less?

I’ll be getting married in August. It’ll be a fairly small affair: we’ll go to the registry and then have a small reception for close family and friends (in the afternoon). My fiancee will not wear a white gown. What type of suit is appropriate (for the bridegroom)? A dark business suit? A tuxedo?

What type of job would allow me to do this? I’m no business major nor am I good with numbers. I want a job in the future where I can wear a suit to work everyday because it looks fucking legit. What options are still available to me?

If a man is wearing a white business suit…what should the color of the shirt and tie be?

My parents run a business in downtown los angeles and I usually would help them out when I was not busy with school. Now that Ive finished school I have now assumed a more full time position at their company and my parents want me to dress more formally since they have given me business cards with my name and job title on them ‘deputy administrator’ (which is pretty much like assistant manager) and I am now on the company payroll and am now being payed like everyone else (i receive a company check every 2 weeks).

Today i dressed myself with these items: light blue long sleeved shirt, dark blue neck tie, belt, gray business casual pants, and black business casual shoes. Now my dad is insisting I also wear a suit coat to work everyday but I honestly just feel like a snob if I wear the suit coat on top of what im already wearing, especially for a kind of young person (im 23) like myself…

So what do women think if they see a young guy like me in a suit? would you think I’m a snob or something?

Hi, I’m going to be a news reporter soon for a local news station and I really need a couple of Business suits. The thing is I’m a size 3-4 and when i looked in Macy’s the sizes started at size 6! Now I kind of feel clueless about where to look. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great. Also links would be helpful- and i promise 10 pts
