What is the acceptable standard of beauty for women in Los Angeles? I recently moved from Cincinnati to LA. I am horrified to discover things like my roommates’ company, where: I – at 100 pounds – would be at a middling sort of weight; everyone seems to have new, trendy clothes; everyone goes to “beauty clinics” for expensive procedures like tattooed eyebrows and collogen; everyone wears their hair in a style; etc. Surely, this is not the norm! Please tell me I’m right. It is too expensive, too fake, and too horrifying. What is the “real” standard of beauty here?

In Ohio, I don’t have to do very much to be considered pretty. I’m thin with blond hair and blue eyes. As long as I am dressed appropriately for the situation – a business suit at work, for instance – no one is going to judge me harshly based on my appearance. Here, I feel like I have to turn my life upside down every day just to go to the supermarket. What is the minimum with which I can get by without being judged harshly?

Where can I find trendy lady suits and business attire? I would like to find somewhere online. I don’t want to pay over $250 each for a suit. I’m 30, and the suits I’ve seen look bulky.

Does anyone have any pictures of feminine business suits for small prices. (kind of like 20-40 dollars)

I am 13 years old, and an animal rights representitive.

By feminine, i mean hot, but casual, and not exactly business suits but like, skirt up to the knee and a shirt. I need classy yet hot outfits.

I do acrylic nails, waxing and spray tanning. Im driving myself insane trying to think of something thats catchy and that will stick in peoples heads and intice them to try a home based business. Something girly or mythical would suit me.

I’m walking to an event where the dress business formal but it’s cold out and my suit coat isn’t warm enough. Is it appropriate to wear a down coat or a fleece jacket on top of my suit coat while I’m walking outside?

I am required to dress business/business casual for my work. I like wearing suits, but sometimes, the button-up shirts underneath the jacket get very wrinkled or just not very comfortable and restricts my movements a bit. Is there an alternative to wearing the traditional button-up dress shirt under the suit? Some kind of dressy but stretchy shirt?

Do you guys know any websites that have like skirts or business suits for a small girl like me? I’m actually 20 but am really small =) haha unfortunately
