I need a business suit because I will be meeting tons of professionals soon for internships. I am young and skinny and I want a suit that is professional yet stylish, hence a slim fitting suit. I looked at Macy’s,menswearhouse, and h&m. Macy’s and menswearhouse has NOTHING stylish but only them “box” looking suits which annoyed me, and H&M has the slim suits I’m looking for but apparently they are made from cheap quality and I want a suit where the quality is respectable. Please help me out and don’t suggest an online store because I want to try the suit out first, and please don’t suggest a store where I have to drive to a certain state i.e. ny, to reach it. thank you

My parents run a business in downtown los angeles and I usually would help them out when I was not busy with school. Now that Ive finished school I have now assumed a more full time position at their company and my parents want me to dress more formally since they have given me business cards with my name and job title on them ‘deputy administrator’ (which is pretty much like assistant manager) and I am now on the company payroll and am now being payed like everyone else (i receive a company check every 2 weeks).

Today i dressed myself with these items: light blue long sleeved shirt, dark blue neck tie, belt, gray business casual pants, and black business casual shoes. Now my dad is insisting I also wear a suit coat to work everyday but I honestly just feel like a snob if I wear the suit coat on top of what im already wearing, especially for a kind of young person (im 23) like myself…

So what do women think if they see a young guy like me in a suit? would you think I’m a snob or something?

What is the most you would spend on a business suit? The brand does not matter…say, the brand u like most, and using your current salary.

Men have to wear suits all the time (coat with trousers and tie). Can we get women to adopt a standard too? something spandex ?

Apparantely writing (with his feet) the name of a rival insurance firm and then crossing it out. Everyone laughed when he was finished and he said that he learned it from his kids watching hip-hop videos. I am offended by this and wish to file a complaint. To whom should I address my concern?? He has no respect for the African-American community. He doesn’t realize that people die over that stuff in real life.
