I suggest a neutral button down with black pants and a tie. A suit/blazer is kind of optional but its better if you have one. imapo0po0head

Suit and tie would make the best impression. Since this is an interview, it's better to be safe than sorry, so you should dress up more rather than less. Once you get to the interview, you can always take off your jacket if you find out that other people are not wearing them. Then again, if everybody else is not wearing a jacket and you are wearing a suit and tie, you will make a better impression than the other people who are there. Good luck! Laura K

"Business" wear always includes a tie, and protocol would suggest a jacket at the very least. A nice business suit would probably be more appropriate, but don't go overboard. "Formalwear" seems odd for this occassion because that suggests a tux/very nice suit (and cocktail dress for women). "Casual business" is what you're describing for yourself/proposing to wear. You may feel out of place if everyone else is dressed in interview clothes, and you're not. Maybe you can borrow something if you don't have a suit. brammerkm

Yes. Business/formal means tie at the very least. You might be able to get away with a sport coat and tie, but you need the tie. laduron7

If it's formal, you need a suit and tie. Shirt, slacks, and leather shoes are business casual. For business formal you need suit and tie. Cool Breeze

Yeah, a suit and tie would be the order of the day.

You might be able to get by with slacks, tie and a nice sweater. Larry T
