Does carrying a gun in a holster under your jacket (as in a business suit) count as concealed?

Even if you can still see it, well not the entire thing, but you can still see it.

Yep, it’s hidden from view possible by the jacket and so would require a permit to carry as such. sheephead_28
In my state, carrying it period, seen or unseen, counts as “concealed”. The same set of laws also say that when a person has a gun and ammo on the same person that it’s “loaded”, regardless of whether or not bullets are actually in the chamber. Lesharo
Unless it is sitting in a place where it is obviously visible to everyone such as on your hip (with no jacket covering it) then it is considered concealed carry.
I warn you now. DO NOT… I repeat DO NOT try to play games with the firearm laws. Many people have thought that they were smarter than the law and tried to find loopholes, only to have themselves be sitting in prison. Sure, someday someone may find a loophole here and there, but is your personal freedom and right to own a firearm worth being the guinea pig to try to make an unnecessary point? Eagle1 Fox2
As long as it’s covered, and not showing printing to the extent that an observant passerby would recognize it for what it is, sure. StealthBeast
Like lesharo said, it depends upon the state and locality you are in. If you won’t tell us your location, we cannot answer your question and anyone that did is dangerously incorrect. kd8zatarrldotnet
