SugaPlum asked:

The prices are so cheap ($1.99 for anything), and the locations are huge so I see they get tons of business, but I was wondering if anyone has ever put their “dry clean only” pieces here, such as business suits, silk items, cashmere items, etc… If so were you impressed?

  1. It's just me says:

When it comes to many things the price directly relates to the quality of service. These cheap cleaners can get away with a lower price because they pile a bunch of stuff into the same machine, sometimes without regard to color or fabric or special needs. Many times it won’t matter and you’ll get your clothes back in good condition but if these are expensive suits and don’t want to risk them being damaged then I suggest you use a more professional cleaners for the suits. It\’s just me

you want to remain with the small mom and pop cleaners, they might charge a bit more but they will stand behind their policy’s and do the best job. Allison S

We use a stand-alone dry clean mart, $1.99 per item, and they do great work on all of our garments. We found ourselves being overcharged and just plain ripped off by RYANS DRY CLEANERS here in Houston. I went to two of their locations over a period of three months and no matter what I took into them or how many coupons I had they always managed to gouge me somehow.

So, yes, I like the $1.99 cleaner. It is an honest business. AJ Franklin
