Help with buying my first business suit?
I am a recent college graduate and I want to buy a tailored suit to wear to job interviews. I am broke, so I’m looking to spend as little as possible.
What style? (or brand)
What color? (maybe something that goes with a variety of collared shirts)
How much money will I likely have to spend?
I admittedly know nothing about purchasing or wearing a suit.

You are skint go to TK Max – if you have one- find a fairly smart Blazer that you like, then find a woman friend or man with a sense of fashion to help you. Then find a pair of trousers which match eg they have the same colour fabric – exactly the same- or go for complimentary colours, then stick with a white shirt and find a tie which goes. White and Black generally go with anything so if you can stick to them. then find a good quality tie – learn to tie it if you cant – then go to your woman Friend or man with a sense of fashion and show them your suit. If they like it keep the suit if they don’t start over tigy
Go too burlington coat factory you can get nice tailored suits at reasonable prices..get a solid black/brown/tan suit ..dont get pinstripes georgia
I hate suits and am glad I never in 30 years have had a job where I needed one. Go to a suit store like Men’s Wearhouse or the like and they will work with you. For a job interview, I think you need Black or Navy Blue. Something conservative will usually work better for that situation. By going to a discount men’s store you should find quality suits 2 for 1 or with a decent markdown. You could pay $1000 for a suit but if your interviewer knows fashion, they will probably think, “Here’s someone who spends money right out of college like it’s going out of style. Doesn’t know how to be fiscally responsible. Could be trouble.” Forrest
