How do I unshrink my husbands wool (business suit) pants (He doesn’t know yet)?

I’ve washed wool things before (in cold water and no dryer) but they never shrunk before. I pulled them from the washer and freaked because they could fit me now. Help! Can they be stretched or am I going to have to tell him and buy a new pair?

Try hanging them, slightly damp, from a clothes line with cans in the leg. This is what I do when I shrink a shirt and it almost always works. I am unsure of how this will work with wool though. Give it some time though, it is not immediate. Good luck! Eva B

Hide them while you and your husband diet for a few weeks. after he loses 20 lbs. then hang them in the closet and they should fit. Lucky

There isn’t anything you can do. Just tell him it was an accident and get him a new pair to make up for it. :) Kym M
