I understand, but it depends on what you’re interviewing for. Worst comes to worst, you can roll up your sleeves and carry the suit jacket under your arm and dress up when you get there. Angela
depends on the company. if it is a big company, i would say wear the whole suit. if it is a startup/smaller company, they may be ok with a more business casual outfit. batman r
Well Maggie, it really depends on the job you are applying for. If it is a manager position, I would recommend the whole business suit. I have personally interviewed countless people, and I can tell you the clothes matter. Don’t wear anything to revealing, I have actually turned women away for wearing clothes that were to revealing. I would suggest just holding the coat until you get to the interview, then put it on inside, I’m sure the building will have air conditioning. At my place of employment, khaki pants and polo shirts are considered dress up, if your desired place of employment is above khaki’s and polo’s, I would wear the suit. The Man with No Name
to dress professional doesn’t mean business suit. you could still wear a professional looking skirt like pencil skirts and a belt and button down shirts can be short sleeved or sleeveless. and professional doesn’t mean button down shirt there are other shirts that are professional
to dress professional doesn’t mean traditional its probably better not to be traditional anyways because you want to make an impression
i went to ann taylor loft’s site here’s an example but personally i would choose different colors. i go shopping at h&m anyway for professional clothes jen
