I have an interview for an airline tomorrow and the dress code is ‘business casual’ What is it?
I have a very smart loose fitting suit that looks perfectly OK with a very nice shirt buttoned up with no tie
I like that look
A safe option is the suit with classic white shirt and tie (which I don’t like)
Does ‘Business Casual absolutely necessitate a tie or can I get away with the first option?
Job is for ground crew.

slacks, dress shirt and tie Zirah
GO for your 1st option no tie required.
Best wishes and Good Luck in your interview! Maria
While business casual doesn’t necessitate a tie, it is recommended that you dress one step up from the dress code, which means formal business attire. I would recommend the suit with the tie – makes you look more professional. eglafiii
Business casual is khakis, nice button shirt. Do NOT wear jeans, tennis shoes, t shirt, anything with holes, stains……….basically dress like you were going to a wedding or a fancy dinner………..usually a tie is not necessary for business casual. barebackriderMT
