Something in a black or navy is usually acceptable for a wedding. But if you are in doubt about what your brother is going to want for the wedding, you should definitely consult him and the bride. Perhaps they will come shopping with you. Jimmy\’s Wife
For the color I would consult with your brother on what he wants. If he can’t decide, see what you like the best. Navy and black are usually suitable. If you have an Armani shop nearby you can get a suit that will last you a lifetime and look classic for years to come. JCrew sells great suits for the younger crew with a lot of style options. Or, have your brother go shopping with you, always a good bonding experience! Julia B
Go to the Men’s Warehouse. If you aren’t in the wedding, but are just attending, I think a navy or dark grey suit is great. You also can’t go wrong with classic black. A good suit is an investment piece that will last you years. kbk823
I’d ask your brother and his soon-to-be bride what color suit and style to get. If they don’t care then I’d say black or grey with a tie that matches the wedding colors. (Black matches everything so you can’t go wrong with black.) Oh, and see what the other groomsmen are wearing, you don’t want to wear a grey suit if everyone else is wearing black or vise versa. I hope I helped! TAlex88
If you are wearing a dark suit you have to wear dark dress shoes and also dark men’s dress socks . Brooks Brothers, Walmart, Armani. Dvet
S&K, Mens Warehouse,
After Hours has nice suits and Tuxedos. Also dont forget the department stores. I would go with a darker color if its a formal wedding, and a lighter color for an informal wedding.
Wear leather dress shoes, black with a black suit – and dark brown with a tan suit. If it’s a gray suit, wear black shoes.
Maybe you could go shopping together with his Groomsmen? They may have been to weddings before and can give you a good idea! S
