Is a blue pinstripe suit acceptable for a wedding? If so, what are some good shirt colors for it?

I am not so good with fashion, the suit is a dark blue with pin-stripe, is this too “business professional” or is it suitable for a wedding. Also, if so, what would be a nice color shirt and tie to wear with it.
The pinstripe is very small, it is not too flashy or anything like that. Just not sure if it would be a good color.
