is it a good idea to learn golf just for business?
im 16 and find golf terrribly boring, just not up to my excitement “par”. anyways, im starting to think id better learn because all the “white collar” jobs seem to have a lot to do with building a relationship via the course?
so should i suit up just for business sake?

Well, take it as part of your business, if you must. Don’t take it too seriously though, as in, don’t get too bogged down on whether you can impress your biz partners with your golfing skills or otherwise. Treat it as a skill.. at the same time, as a leisure…WHACK the damn ball and see it go!
Relieve some stress!
hahaha arevoir
try it, I hated it for years and after trying it a few time I like it alot just remember to treat it as fun not something you need to do and you will like it russ36
Well, when you go to college hopefully you can take a golf class which will cost a lot less than private lessons. However, most golfers aren’t really great, they are usually men who use it as an excuse to get alone time away from the wife and kids.
For business, it’s really not necessary. My father is a director of a team at a huge corporation, and he only took golf lessons one time and never golfed since. I think that if you want a really high-level position, like a vice president or a regional sales manager, then golf might help you a little, but if I were you I wouldn’t worry about it. You can always learn to golf later if you feel that you must. jellybeanchick
Another corporation workoid in the making. Lift your ambitions and be the one who dictates the mode of sycophancy rather than the sycophant. cranky
