The same stores you would rent tuxes from usually have suits as well. All you have to do is call!

we just went through this same dilemma with my husband for his daughter’s upcoming wedding; we could NOT find a place that rented suits, just tuxedos….we just spent $850 for a suit…….sigh…good luck, hope you have better luck finding one than we did
I would start with the companies that rent tuxedos and get recommendations as to where a ‘basic suit’ can be located. The right color combination may be cheaply found in a department store. You could save time and make many queries via the telephone. This would save wear and tear on yourself. I wish you good luck. Peace!!!

In the UK, try somewhere like Moss Bros, who certainly rent suits of all colours, shapes and sizes.

Yes, at the tuxedo shop! All tuxedo places also rent suits. My son rented one for my sister’s wedding (he was an usher) because she wanted him in a suit and he doesn’t own one! Go to any tux place and inquire.
