Is it ok to wear a Business Suit to a Formal Evening Party ? or should I get another Dress wear suit ?

Its a Leavers Party for the Boss whos being transferred to another country
asking the host is not practical as there isnt one in this case

Can a business fire someone for suing their company?

My Sister has worked 7 years for a bank at a major theme park in Florida. Through that time she has developed severe carpel tunnel. Workmans comp would not pay for the surgury her doctor says she needs, so she has filed a law suit.

Recently, her boss came to her “as a friend” and asked her to drop the law suit, otherwise the company might fire her.

What are my sisters rights in this situation? Any helpful suggestions?
