My wardrobe consists of suits jeans and t-shirts. I don’t have a lot in between and my company has just instituted casual Fridays. Two Fridays ago I got low-browed for wearing a suit and last Friday, I got the stare for wearing jeans and a t-shirt. I’m one of those people who doesn’t like to put any thought into what they wear so the fact that this is even a topic of discussion at work is already annoying enough?

What should I think about first? What kind of jobs could I expect with 1 year, 2 year, 4 year and even higher education? What kind of skills and personality suit these jobs and how good at math do you need to be? Do you use a lot of advanced maths or just basic like with accounting for example

I’m curious, how is a business suit made without a machine? What I want to ask is a simple black color business suit. From the getting of the material, to the dying and finally the sewing. Any materials will do. Preferably, I liked an elaborate manufacturing process.

Hi all,

I have an emergency business trip for two days and will be taking the plane. I don’t want to wear a suit going on board but change when I arrive the destination. How do people carry a suit to a plane? There is no way I will put the suit in my luggage because it will turn out having a lot of wrinkles.

I have a training session to attend in the morning. The dress code is “business casual attire”. I don’t have a lot of business “casual” clothes…mostly club type wear and scrubs (for my job). I do have a few suits and black dress pants for interviews and such. Would it be OK to wear black pants and a suit jacket? I don’t have any button up shirts. Are heels OK (I know not to wear runners)?

What should I wear?

I am younger, in my 20’s, if that matters. I don’t want to wear anything too “stuffy” if I can avoid it.

The recent changes happened because of the suit. It gave me the power to take risks and make decisions…something so NOT me. It could be a good thing…it might also not be one…but in both cases I did it because at the time i told myself “The suit demands it”.

I have to travel to the northeast this winter, a lot, and I’ll be wearing a business suit. I’m sure it will be snowy from time to time while I’m there. Normally I wear heels with a suit, but I don’t want to fall on my butt in the snow, so what kind of shoes should I wear? Specific suggestions much appreciated. Thanks!
