Has anyone ever won a case against a check advance business because of a technicality?

A cash advance business deposited one of my checks and it was returned insufficient funds. According to my state’s banking laws if a check is returned for insufficient funds the business is required to inform you in writing of your options to pay it off in four equal monthly installments before they take any civil action. They did not inform me of this and filed suit in court. Can I beat this in court? Since they didn’t follow state regulations, can this be dismissed?

I am going in for an interview for the Morehead-Cain Scholarship for UNC Chapel Hill. The options for dress were very broad so im torn between a taylored business suit and my favorite dress that has impressionist flowers all over it with a sweater. which should i opt for?

Can I wear a cream-colored suit to a “business formal” work event in January? Does it have to be black?

I am a woman, and I hate pant-suits…Could I wear a short houndstooth jumper with a suit jacket over it and black tights? Are the ONLY options for “business formal” a pant-suit or skirted suit? I do not even have a skirted suit :o ( and the event is tomorrow.
