I’ve always wore a knit hat (aka “beanie, “toque”, etc), but now I have to wear a shirt & tie (and sometimes a suit) on a regular basis. I’m not sure what is appropriate attire to keep my head warm!

After watching a season of Mad Men, I was thinking of getting a nice gray business suit. Today, on the discount rack, was a single brand spanking new gray suit. And guess what? It fits better than my fitted suit

I like how it looks with a white shirt and black tie, any other ideas?

Whole outfit:

White dress shirt, tie, black jacket/suit, and khahki colored dress pants. Is this acceptable for a business formal interview?

I already work in the office and tomorrow I have an interview. It is for a Systems analyst position. I already work in the area that is hiring for the position. Our office is business casual and I already work with the manager doing the interview. Do I dress in a suit and tie? Or can I go with a very nice set of pants, dress shirt, tie and a sweater? I’m thinking that a suit would be overdressing, but a sweater and tie seems like it would go over nicely. Help!
