I am going to a job fair, and even though I have suits, I just feel more comfortable in dresses, albeit classy ones (little black dress?). Would that be okay for “business casual”?

I’m only 18 and don’t have any professional education or anything that would get me into some high paying business job.
I just like dressing up.
Someone suggested a nice clothing store and said that they might even give me store credit to buy suits to wear to work.
Any ideas, elaboration, or comments?

Are certain shirts more acceptable than others? How formal is too formal? Do slacks have to match when wearing a sports coat?

My husband will be visiting Norway for a business trip and would like to dress appropriately. He was planning on wearing suits. Is this acceptable or would he be overly dressed?

I’m on the homecoming court and it’s tradition to wear suits. I have no idea where to get one, but I don’t want to spend too much money and I don’t want the suit to be too business-like. Any ideas?

Or do brown shoes only match coloured suits – like grey, brown, blue etc.

Quick example of both styles

I need a business suit because I am on my school’s speech team. I don’t want to look stuffy and old, I have a unique style but I can’t find anything out of the norm where suits are involved. Does anyone know where I can find some cute, stylish jackets, pants, or pencil skirts? I am a size 0-2 on the top and 2-4 on the bottom. Also, the cheaper the better, nothing over $100. Thank you for your help!
