The dress standard for the day is business attire?

What is business attire? Suit and tie? Is there a certain type/colour of suit? I only ow one, I wore it to a school formal and wedding, its black, is it suitable?

i suggest wearing dress pants and a button up shirt and nice shoes and even a sport coat would look nice!

sure it is. But this time you may want to use a colored tie with a cool shirt. Check out the macy’s collection and buy it at a small business men clothing store and create. Rekha
When most people think “business attire” they think of a classical suit, a black colored trouser, a black colored jacket, and a white dress shirt underneath the jacket. But even though black is suitable you might want to change thinks up like add a red shirt underneath your black jacket. Or bring a nice leather brief case (that will definitely make you look professional plus you can carry your papers into it if your going to a job interview.
