Wearing a business style suit – done up or open?

Closed is more formal. So keep it closed until it is a more informal setting that warrants having it open.
Also, when its closed button every button except for the bottom one. This is common jacket practice. Eric P
My opinion: When you walk in a room your suit should be buttoned. When you sit down you can unbutton but again, when you stand up whether to meet or greet, be sure to quickly button it back up. This is respectful and professional. Destiny B
