What are the differences in job opportunities between a economics and a business degree?

economics and business degrees seem very similar, so i’d like to know what kind of job opportunities are there for both. and what kind of people they’re suited for.

    Check out this site, it helped me a lot when trying do decide if economics was right for me (http://www2.csusm.edu/rarnold/economics_major.htm). Economics and business are not very similar. Economics is very theoretical, whereas business is applied. Economics is a social science, so its main focusing is on studying people and society, ie. why people make the decisions they do and how society functions. From my experience, business majors tend to be the loud, extroverted, jock-types, whereas economics majors tend to be the more introverted, serious, and analytical types. Edward
