What does business casual attire mean when you work at mervyn’s?

Has anyone worked at mervyns before and can tell me what their business casual is? I was told to wear business casual, no jeans and that was it. I need to know what top i should wear. Can i wear no collar tops? do i have to wear a suit? and am i allowed to wear dickies?

    Business casual attire means casual pants, like chinos or dikies no collarless shirts. Polo style or button down collar shirts would be acceptable.. and Oh NO sneakers! ilove2teach36

    You can wear any top, just as long as it is appropiate, nothing low cut, no logo’s on the shirts, or somthing that would support another shirt, no tank tops, and nothing too short, but other than that any shirt is fine. and yes i belive you can wear dickies i have sean a lot of people wear them there. no you dont have to wear a suit just look prosentable. Also if anything is wrong with what you are wearing they will tell you so dont worry. Sandy k
