It sounds appropriate to me. Appropriate style of business wear also depends on location, i.e., the east coast is more formal than the west coast in the US. My advice would be just to make sure your skirt isn’t too short. Studies have shown that you would not be taken as seriously when dressing in what some would consider sexy. Temy

you can check out sources like New Dress for Success for Women by John T. Molloy for all the rules, but they have changed and light colors are no longer taboo in the winter, however, they do recommend tradional dark colors )navy, black and dark grey for interviewing.
