M&L asked:

I have my associates degree, but I don’t feel confident about it because II don’t know how to best use it. I want to apply for jobs, but I don’t want to apply for something I have no chance of getting. I want suggestions on positions that this degree has prepared me for.

I hope to get some valid answers, but I know that a few will be stupid.. this is not the only way I am working on this I just want to see if someone can suggest something that really interests me.
thanks

You don’t always have to work in your degree field. I have known a few folks with business degrees that opened businesses such as petsitting companies, worked for corporations, and some worked in a paid role for a non-profit. Most folks with the AS in Business will find themselves in administrative roles working for someone, getting their BS/BBA paid for via employer’s tuition reimbursement, and moving up the ladder. I have even known a few folks with a business degree that are now missionaries. …and I know a few folks with MBAs that are waiters until the economy improves.

What interests you? How do you think you could apply your degree to these fields? Bobby C
