The criminal justice field is a pretty conservative field and when applying for a job, you should dress like the people who work there do. By this, I mean you should dress in nice but plain clothes. Avoid bright flashy colors or eccentric styles. Think of all those cop and FBI shows you see on TV and see how they dress (aside from things like CSI and NCIS which are overly dramatized).
