Women (21 and older) if you saw a relatively young guy in a business suit would you think he’s a snob?

My parents run a business in downtown los angeles and I usually would help them out when I was not busy with school. Now that Ive finished school I have now assumed a more full time position at their company and my parents want me to dress more formally since they have given me business cards with my name and job title on them ‘deputy administrator’ (which is pretty much like assistant manager) and I am now on the company payroll and am now being payed like everyone else (i receive a company check every 2 weeks).

Today i dressed myself with these items: light blue long sleeved shirt, dark blue neck tie, belt, gray business casual pants, and black business casual shoes. Now my dad is insisting I also wear a suit coat to work everyday but I honestly just feel like a snob if I wear the suit coat on top of what im already wearing, especially for a kind of young person (im 23) like myself…

So what do women think if they see a young guy like me in a suit? would you think I’m a snob or something?

    It is normal.

    I think you need to dress appropriately and your dad is right.

    Otherwise, get another job where you don’t have to dress for work.

    No, actually my first assumption would be that he works in a corporation. It’s corporates’ uniform, apparently. Always Right

    No, they would not think you’re a snob. I’m in the age range your question requested and I think young men dressed in suits are very handsome. I love looking at them. You have nothing to worry about! Splash

    No way- I’m definitely even attracted to guys in suits. I went to a private school, so guys wore suit coats and ties every day. If I saw a guy in a suit walking down the street, I would automatically have more respect for him. Snob is the last thing I’d be thinking. Becs

    Ok I’m 20……but i’m gunna answer anyway.

    If I saw a young bloke dressed in a suit I wouldn’t think he was a snub at all. I think young men look really handsome when they dress nicely for work.

    Make sure you have nice shoes….I have always been told you can tell alot about a bloke by their shoes and you really can…so keep them nice and clean :) TTC#1 I want my little Corey!!
