You are in a situation where you have to choose someone to trust, either a man in a business suit or a hobo?
Paddy 1969 asked:
Which one will you choose? Lets say its about something that will personally affect your well being. I am just curious. This is a kind of values question.

you should choose business suit because the hobo will take and lie to you and say i lost but he really has it. a business suit man will just hold something for you SUNNY S
Depends. If i know the hobo and know his fears,i would trust him over a business person in a suit that i don’t know. But if i know both equally,i would choose the business person. alex
Even though you can’t judge a book by it’s cover, one would probably go with the odds and select the one in the business suit. I’m not sure that I’d lump this question into a “values” category as it’s more of a human nature/experiential category as illustrated as follows: Which car would you trust, a car that is shiny and new looking or one that is all dented up? Good people come from all walks of life. Bad people come from all walks of life. For instance a Pedophile can be a bum hiding in the bushes at the park where your daughter plays or it could be a Multi-millionaire rock star.
A more direct answer would be i would have to get to know the persons personality before i would trust anyone. Starship Pain
You might consider the Hobo in that he has stuck to his values to the highest degree. He does not want to work and his love of life is to travel, tell stories and leave sign of his existence. He does this to the extent that he has deferred most of life’s perceived pleasure to pursue his own way.
The man in the suit may very well be a suitable person to trust but on face value and on the spot, taking a chance on the hobo would probably be a smart choice…. Ironicass
